On September 17, the Head of the Bright Armenia Faction of the RA National Assembly Edmon Marukyan and the deputies of the Faction Gevorg Gorgisyan and Arkady Khachatryan met with the deputies of the Democratic Party of Artsakh Faction of the Parliament of Artsakh Republic Davit Melkumyan and Gegham Stepanyan.

Welcoming the guests in the RA National Assembly, Edmon Marukyan considered important the close cooperation with his Artsakh colleagues in the political, economic, foreign relations and other spheres. The Head of the Faction stressed the necessity and importance of the continuity of the development of the inter-parliamentary relations.

The deputy of the National Assembly of Artsakh Republic Davit Melkumyan also highlighted the steps and events directed to the development of the Armenian two states’ parliamentary ties. He informed that in the near future the delegation of the Parliament of Artsakh Republic would be in Yerevan on an official visit. Other numerous issues of bilateral interest were also discussed at the meeting.
